Taylor Mohr was adopted at the age of 3, and that began a life-long interest in and passion for the law and the legal process. Since then, Taylor has made it her life’s mission to help guide others through the incredibly complex and sometimes overwhelming legal system. She takes the time to truly listen to her clients and to educate them on the law, and she is a fierce advocate both in settlement and in litigation.
At the age of 17, Taylor graduated from high school in the top 1% of her class. She then went on to Baylor University after receiving the “Presidential Scholarship”, and she earned a Bachelor’s degree in History with a Minor in Religion while being a member of 5 honor societies and the Baylor Songleaders dance team. She graduated summa cum laude at the age of 20. Baylor University School of Law then offered Taylor a full-tuition scholarship because of her 4.0 GPA and outstanding LSAT scores. While in law school, Taylor was a member of the Student Bar Association and completed internships at the Office of the General Counsel for the Department of Veterans’ Affairs and for the Honorable Judge Walter Smith. She also acted as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children going through the foster care system.
After graduating from Baylor Law School in the top 30% of her class just after her 23rd birthday, Taylor Mohr worked at Wells Fargo as a Trust Administrator, and that experience gave her a unique and valuable insight into the drafting, administration, and litigation revolving around estate planning. In 2012, Taylor added family law to her practice. Since then, she has handled more than 250 hearings, trials, and mediations for a myriad of family law issues and has experienced outstanding success for her clients both in the courtroom and during settlement negotiations.
Taylor now puts her unique combination of skills to good use practicing family law, estate planning, and probate in the DFW Metroplex.
Taylor married her high school sweetheart in March 2012. They welcomed a son in 2014 and are expecting a daughter in 2018. She is also a certified Sommelier and an admitted foodie and travel lover.
