McCathern, PLLC issued a press release today regarding its client Clint Bench.  Mr. Bench, who was born without natural hands, is suing Six Flags Entertainment Corporation for disability discrimination.  In May, 2012, Mr. Bench visited Six Flags in Arlington, Texas and boarded the Aquaman Splashdown ride with his daughter.  But before the ride began, park employees asked Mr. Bench to dismount, citing park policy that all riders need fully formed natural hands to ride the rides.  Mr. Bench complained to management, but they cited the same policy.  He is now suing six flags, because this policy violates the Americans with Disabilities Act.  Mr. Bench is seeking a permanent injunction that will prevent Six Flags from further discriminating against him.
