Biography
Attorney Ryan Steinhart joined the McCathern Houston office in April 2023 and is already making an impact with the firm’s clients across many practice areas. Ryan is developing his experience alongside the firm’s tenured attorneys, with particular focus on Personal Injury, Business & Commercial Litigation, and Corporate Services matters.
Before joining McCathern, Ryan gained valuable experience with firms in Houston working primarily in Personal Injury and Commercial Litigation cases involving breach of contract and other business disputes.
Ryan earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2014 and moved back to Houston to earn his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center, where he was a Dean’s Merit Scholarship recipient. While attending law school, Ryan clerked for a personal injury law firm in Houston, gaining valuable experience in that area.
While studying law, Ryan worked as a Contributing Editor of the Journal of Consumer & Commercial Law. The Journal is the official publication of the State Bar of Texas Consumer and Commercial Law Section and is published by the Center of Consumer Law at the University of Houston Law Center.
Ryan is a member of the State Bar of Texas and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
When not practicing law, he enjoys attending concerts, watching basketball, and traveling.
