McCathern is thrilled to announce that attorney Shane Eghbal of the firm’s Dallas office was recently named a partner at our law firm. On Friday, September 15th, the North Texas offices gathered at the Dallas office for the announcement and to celebrate Shane’s achievement.
Shane’s journey to the partnership began long ago, when he worked for the firm as a teenager in the back office. While earning his undergraduate degree at SMU, Shane continued working for the firm, this time in its accounting office. He then clerked at McCathern while earning his law degree from the University of Oklahoma and joined the firm as an associate attorney upon graduation and passing the Texas Bar in 2016. In the years since, Shane earned the respect of his fellow McCathern attorneys by working on many critical litigation and contractual matters for the firm’s clients and taking on substantial leadership opportunities.
After years of hard work and dedication to the mission of McCathern, joining the partnership of the firm is particularly rewarding for Shane. It is also incredibly rewarding for the leadership of the firm, who regard Shane’s story as the embodiment of the loyalty and effort asked of our attorneys and staff.
“Shane has been working for our firm since he was 17 years old and it has been a true joy to watch him develop from a young man into our partner,” said Managing Partner Arnold Shokouhi. “He has become one of our go-to litigators, and we could not be prouder to have him be our partner.”
In an announcement speech to his fellow attorneys and McCathern staff, clients, friends, and family, Shane thanked everyone who helped him on his journey and reflected on what the firm means to him and his hopes for the firm’s future.
“This is such an exciting time to be a part of our law firm,” said Shane. “We are filled with a group of young, hungry, talented killers. Take it from the guy who bought in before he was old enough to vote. It is a privilege for all of us to get to come to work here together every day. Let’s remember that and continue improving peoples’ lives together in this next chapter.”
