Biography

Kristen Sacca is an associate attorney in McCathern, Shokouhi, Evans’ Dallas office, where her practice focuses on Civil Litigation, Business & Commercial Litigation, Corporate Services, and Real Estate Litigation & Transactions, with an emphasis on the sports and entertainment industries. Her practice includes the representation of collegiate and professional athletes, as well as sports entities and teams, in complex disputes, transactions, and crisis management matters.

Kristen earned her J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law and, concurrently during her final year, an LL.M. in Entertainment, Arts, and Sports Law from the University of Miami School of Law. During law school, she served as Sponsorship Chair of SMU’s Sports and Entertainment Law Association and participated in the University of Miami’s NIL Legal Clinic in partnership with University of Miami Athletics. Kristen also performed pro bono work with Allies Against Slavery, an organization fighting human trafficking. She received her B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Sports Administration from the University of Miami.

During law school, Kristen served as a legal intern for the Dallas Cowboys Football Club’s legal department and as a human resources intern for the Texas Rangers during MLB All-Star Week. Prior to law school, Kristen gained experience in collegiate athletics working with the Orange Bowl Committee and as a compliance intern for University of Miami Football. Drawn by the firm’s work on behalf of collegiate and professional athletes, she joined McCathern, Shokouhi, Evans as a Law Clerk and Summer Associate in February 2025.
 
Outside of the firm, Kristen enjoys playing tennis, traveling internationally, and attending sports events. She speaks intermediate Spanish.
