More Than 10,000 Global Risk Professionals to Convene at Industry Leading Event Taking Place from April 28 – May 1 in Boston, MA

McCathern partner Ty Sheaks is honored to have been asked to speak at RIMS 2019 Annual Conference & Exhibition, the premier global risk management and insurance conference. Mr. Sheaks will be among distinguished colleagues for a Hospitality Industry Session panel discussion titled ‘A Room with a View of Liability’ that will explore two case studies addressing the risks and exposures present in the businesses of hotels, restaurants and entertainment venues through interactive participation. The educational session is scheduled for Tuesday, April 30 from 2:45-4:00 p.m. in room 162AB.

“The risks and potential exposures facing the hospitality industry are constantly evolving, from active shooter, human trafficking, workplace violence, to cyber threats,” Ty said. “Industry collaboration is critical to stay ahead of the game from a liability perspective and we hope the interactive discussion from the case studies presented will foster that.”
