McCathern is proud to announce that Partner Brett M. Chisum was recently named to the Up-And-Coming 100: 2020 Texas Rising Stars List. This is the second straight year that Brett has made the exclusive list, which includes many of the best young attorneys in the state.
“I am incredibly grateful for the amazing team we have at McCathern and for all of our legal assistants and paralegals that make my job as an attorney so much easier,” said Brett. “Being named to the Up and Coming 100 Texas Rising Stars list for the second year in a row is truly an honor and highlights the hard work we put into helping improve people’s lives.”
Brett’s practice includes work on a wide variety of transactional and litigation matters. In particular, he specializes in successfully representing property owners who have suffered storm damage. Additionally, he is part of McCathern’s Banking & Mortgage Section, focusing on regulatory compliance in the consumer financial services industry.
Texas Rising Stars is published by Thomson Reuters’ Super Lawyers and it is a listing of the state’s top lawyers who are age 40 or younger or who have been in practice no more than 10 years. According to Super Lawyers, the honor “recognizes the top lawyers in Texas via a patented multi-phase selection process involving peer nomination, independent research and peer evaluation.” The Up-And-Coming 100 recognizes the top point recipients of each year’s Texas Rising Stars list.
Brett has been named to the Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars list every year since 2016 and the Up-And-Coming 100 in 2019 and 2020.
