In the fall of 2017, Dallas-area magazine, D Magazine, launched a new program to honor the city’s up-and-coming attorneys. The list was compiled after lawyers with a valid Texas Bar number nominated their peers keeping one question in mind: “Which Dallas lawyers under 40, of those whose work you have witnessed firsthand, would you rank among the current best?” Answers could include co-counsel, lawyers observed in court, and opposing counsel.
McCathern, PLLC is pleased to announce the naming of Dallas Partner, Stephanie Almeter to the list of Best Lawyers Under 40 in Dallas for her work in business litigation. To be considered for this award a nominee must have a valid Texas Bar number with no disciplinary action, do business primarily in the DFW area, have practiced law for five years as of December 31, 2017, and be 39 years of age or younger as of December 31, 2018. After the votes are tallied, a panel of esteemed lawyers meets with our editors to evaluate the nominees. The panel consists of lawyers of varying ages and with varying levels of experience.
