The McCathern law firm is proud to announce the promotion of two attorneys, Isaac Villarreal and Eric Van Horn, to partner of the firm’s Dallas and Houston offices. McCathern is a full-service law firm with offices in Dallas, Frisco, Houston, and Los Angeles.

Being promoted to partner is not a task easily achieved. A partnership with McCathern is the result of hard work, devotedness to the team, and exemplary client service and relations. Attorneys who prove themselves deserving of a partnership have demonstrated incredible business ingenuity as well as exhibiting commitment and determination to achieving the best possible results for each client.

Mr. Villarreal has been an integral member of the McCathern team since his arrival to the Houston office in 2016. He focuses his practice on various areas of litigation including disputes involving contract claims and business torts, real estate matters, residential and commercial construction defects, mechanic’s and materialman’s liens and bond claims, and commercial and consumer collections.

“Isaac is an extraordinary attorney and advocate for his clients, who has consistently exceeded my expectations. We are excited to welcome him as a partner,” said Ronald Wright, Managing Partner at McCathern Houston.

Mr. Van Horn is the Practice Area Leader for McCathern’s Bankruptcy division. Working hard for our Dallas office since 2014, he represents clients across the country in all aspects of bankruptcy, reorganizations, out-of-court restructurings and workouts, re-financing and forbearance negotiations and disputes, collection actions, multi-jurisdictional insolvencies, corporate liquidations, and other bankruptcy-related litigation matters.

“Eric is exactly the type of partner every firm would love to have,” said Arnold Shokouhi, Managing Partner at McCathern. “He is a great attorney, mentor, businessman, and more importantly a great husband, father, and man. We are fortunate to have him as a partner and proud to call him our friend.”

Congratulations to Isaac and Eric!
