McCathern Managing Partner Arnold Shokouhi was recently named to the inaugural list of Texas Trailblazers by Texas Lawyer magazine. The 2019 Texas Trailblazers was a special supplement that highlighted “agents of change” in the Texas legal industry who have had significant effects on the practice, policy and technological advancement of their practice. The profile can be viewed here, on page 23 of the Trailblazers supplement.
This trailblazing description certainly fits Arnold, as the issue highlighted his groundbreaking work in March 2019 with a client who acquired the first license to grow, process and distribute cannabis in the European Union. This victory is emblematic of his and McCathern’s ability to tackle new types of legal matters and apply innovating thinking towards reaching our clients’ goals.
The dynamic global cannabis industry is particularly rife with questions that require nimble and dedicated legal assistance, and McCathern’s launch of its Cannabis Practice is meant to help businesses address these many impending questions.
