McCathern represented the 75% owner of a recreational vehicle park located in Bryan County, Oklahoma in a dispute with the 25% partner. This dispute centered on the minority partner’s misuse of partnership funds for personal purposes over a period of more than twenty years.

The case was tried to a twelve-person jury in the 191st Judicial District Court for Dallas County, Hon. Gena Slaughter presiding. McCathern’s attorneys secured a unanimous jury verdict on the client’s claims for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, conversion, money had and received, and usury.

In addition, the unanimous jury also awarded exemplary damages after the firm’s attorneys presented evidence that the defendant attempted to bribe third-party witnesses for favorable testimony.

The firm congratulates our clients and thanks all the team members who contributed to this successful outcome.
