McCathern is proud to announce that Dallas Partner Jesse Cromwell recently became Board Certified® in Construction Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization (TBLS).
Jesse has worked with general contractors, subcontractors, and owners, navigating litigation matters involving defects and contractual disputes within the construction industry. Beyond litigation, he provides comprehensive support to his clients by crafting, modifying, and preparing construction contracts.
Jesse joins other McCathern attorneys who have earned board certifications, but he is the first to do so in construction law. The Construction Law certification was launched in 2016 and there are currently only 144 lawyers in Texas who are Board Certified® in Construction Law, less than .02% of current attorneys practicing in the state.
In addition to passing a comprehensive exam, each lawyer must have at least five years of construction law experience, have vetted references from area judges and lawyers, have completed 60 hours of TBLS-approved continuing legal education in construction law, and meet all of the TBLS Standards.
